In my early days of owning my savage, I knew very little. All of my info came from my LHS at the time. They were big Integy promoters, and they were happy to take lots of my money. I've tried a lot of their parts, many are in a box never to see the light of day again. Some are still on my truck now and I would by again. I'm not in any way a 'supporter' of Integy, just thought I'd make a list of the parts I've tried and my pos/neg experiences with them.

Rear hub carriers-
great part, eliminate rear turn buckles. Never had any problems

Steering bell crank-
so-so, liked that they came with bearings. Took some fiddling to get it set up nice. If it was tightened up too much, would bind. Prob would not buy again, just get bearings for stock set up.

A-arms upper and lower-
Added a lot of weight, but also lower center of gravity. Handled great, but after a few hits they bent a lot of pins and lower arm braces. Took them off once I cracked a diff housing. Very pricy, would not buy again.

Front/rear skid plate-
Terrible, heavy, bent on every hit/flip. Eventually cracked from trying to straighten back so many times.

Front rear bumper-
Kinda heavy. They do offer some protection from sticks and stones jamming into the shock towers. Prob wouldn't buy them again, but I have them, so I run them.

Turn buckles-
Garbage part, balls offer limited movement. I put them on and took them off. Do not buy!!

Throttle mixing arm-
Has a bearing in it, very smooth. Would buy again

Shock towers-
Lots of mounting options for shock mounting, but once I broke a diff housing from the a-arm I took them off too.

Front axle carriers-
Good part, no issues. Would buy again.

Big bore shock bodies-
Only ran them for a few tanks, but so far they are great. Threaded bodies, aluminum caps. Also come with 3 different sets of springs.

I'd agree with the majority of this. Good synopsis. Goes to further prove the mantra of never using aluminum in locations that need to take a hit or flex.

I can vouch for the shock bodies too. Haven't tried most of the other stuff. Thanks for the write-up!

Has anyone tried their clutches? I've heard that this is one of the things they got right. Might need to buy a clutch for my Savage 25.

Better off just buying the clutch set for the xl savage and using that.......

I recently got the XL clutch setup from Jennys on E Bay , flywheel, alloy shoes, springs, nut, shims and all for 17 bux, it fit my rig perfectly and seems to work fine....

I have heard the integy shoes are a soft alloy and seem to wear rather quickly......
either way I would rather have HPI parts on my clutch set over something that is kind of unknown to me.....

Links or it didn't happen. Just kidding. I'd heard that 80% ish of Integy was junk but that they made decent clutches is why I asked @Jam Racing 1. I'll look for the HPI on Ebay.
