Hi all. I'm running into a bit of a wall with my dynamite powered Octane build. I pretty much have an octane roller sitting on a set of Phaltlines (or dirtbonz if I choose to get it dirty) and I'm wanting to bolt in the little .31 motor from the new losi xxl2.
I have everything but I still need to figure out what size clutch bell and spur gear to use. The .31 spins up to just under 30,000 rpm which should theoretically give it similar power curve to one of the smaller nitro big blocks. I can't seem to find that info for the GT15C that comes with the octane (14/47 gearing).
If anyone has some info or suggestions please feel free to send them my way.
