Hello All,

I have only had my truck apart once or twice (in certain parts) but I've noticed that the allen headed bolts they come with are junk and are already starting to strip out bad. Does anyone know of stronger more strip resistant bolts/screws than the stock ones? I've seen stainless kits online but am not sure if there any stronger or not. I know stainless looks better but i really don't care, I just want something strong that wont strip easy.
Help is much appreciated.
Thanks

Probably the reason the heads are stripping out is due to the L wrenches , best off to invest in a quality set of hex drivers for them..... something like the dynamite set or any number of others out on the market.....
For replacement screws I like to buy mine at McMaster-Carr hardware supplier......

Yep, go to the hardware store and get some good tools. Stay away from stainless screws..

Are stainless a weaker screw or something?
Stainless steel screws are soft. Stick with stock screws, or upgrade to titanium or 12.9 grade steel screws.
