Ok so I got another tank through it 2 heat cycles got it over 200 drove it shut it down put the piston at the bottom. Well I pulled the glow plug and it looked like this um that doesn't look good and why does it look like that? Is It cause I'm in break in and it's really rich?
 
:whoo: thats about the worst looking plug I have ever seen..... are you running a fuel filter on the engine, looks like was some foreign materials inside that engine...... or by chance if you sealed it some sealant got inside that engine and coated the plug ??
 
must have been some residue inside the engine then... not positive but it looks like some old fuel residue got on that plug somehow.....
 
Could I be putting to much after run oil maybe.

well I'll change it and run it tomorrow and see, seems to be running ok though.
 
That's a possibility, if using afterrun oil it only takes one or 2 drops down the carb to do the job, I don't use it personally, I squirt a bit of wd40 in my :ercm: to protect them
 
I wouldn't use aluminum shock towers either. One crash took out both of mine, along with an aluminum upper control arm and aluminum skid plate. I even busted the front diff case. Course I was probably goin about 40 and that stupid 4 x 4 just jumped in front of me. :oops:
 
Well I'll try less after run. Got a new delivery system for it it said about 2 cc of after run but that may be to much I use a syringe and a piece of fuel tubing and go through the high speed needle. I'll try like 1/2 a cc lol.

I thought about getting some aluminum shock towers they were red and only 5 bucks a piece lol. But I haven't yet.
 
2 cc's jesus that's way too much after run oil, no wonder all that goop is fouling the plug... and just FYI only use aro if storing it for a long period of time.... but I will keep using my wd40......
 
My shock towers were Integy, and they broke off clean right at the bottom, VERY weak.
These are by GPM Racing There on amazon and are cheap mostly want them cause there red if I could find red plastic parts I would be all over them lol.

Whats concidered a long period time? I use it after I'm done for the day.
