The current pipe I have on my engine is an OFNA 086, but I'm beginning to wonder if I have the right pipe. After watching some YouTube videos of piccos mine just doesn't have the power I see in the vids. I know that I still need to work on my turn everything a bit but I feel the tune I do have I should be getting more top end and low end. I mean I could be wrong and it's all in my tune, but I was just wondering. Thanks.

What gearing are you running? Your spur/ clutch bell combo can make a world of difference in how the power is sent to the wheels.

Your ratio is a little low. 2.71:1

Personally if you want wheelies I'd bring it up above 3:1. The 16/48 RR combo has always worked for me. Wheelies when you want, but not overly aggressive.

Oh ok so could that be why I'm not getting that pep, Ive seen in vids it's not the pipe?. But it's not so much the wheelies I mean I would like to be able to do it (currently it won't at all) but I just seem to get that well that pep get up and go holly crap gusto...lol it's hard to put into words not alot of speed cause I have trenchers and I don't want to over work the engine I'll try a different gearing ans see how that works I'll try that combo first.

Are trenchers heavy big wheels? If so you could get some extra pep by putting on some lighter wheels and tires. Any reduction in weight in the drivetrain is going to make a big difference. I had to post something here because I cant imagine a savage not being able to wheelie.

Lol, back in the .21/.25 day's, we could barely imagine them able TO wheelie lol.

Yes, Trenchers are pretty heavy, I had to gear down to run mine.

Well I may not be geared down enough then and some more tuning cause yeah it won't wheelie but I've seen them wheelie with bigger tires on YouTube and seem to have more pep than mine as well.I'm gunna try that 48/16 combo that jam recommended and see if that does it.

Well the no wheelies part isn't a bad thing cause they can be annoying at times specially when jumping lol. It's the fact that it doesn't seen to have the get up and go like I've seen picco have (not the modded ones) just seems sluggish to me is all.

A savage that cant wheelie? Send that to the island of misfit toys.

You're gearing has a huge impact on acceleration though.
