So against everyones advice I bought some integy xsr10 orange piggyback shocks. The stockers work fine but this is my showoff bash machine so I needed a little bling. Sue me. Well the integys worked okay. A little bouncy with 30weight hpi oil. Then I bent both front shafts. When I broke them down I compared my stock shafts and pistons. Same diameters just four holes on the stock pistons and two on the integy units. Now I'm running stock guts in my blingy shocks. No leaks whatsoever and buttery
Smooth. Just a little fyi for y'all!

I just put a set of Integy alloy big bore shocks on my Savage,so far I am loving them. much better than the stock 8 shock setup and with the right pistons and oil they hold the truck up well and keep it from bottoming out in rough terrain..... 40 wt oil in front with 1.6, 2 hole pistons and 50 wt in rear with 1.4, 2 hole pistons with 3.5 mm shafts I doubt they will ever bend also....

I have about 80 bux into these.... and the other big bores I have are going onto my WildFire ClodBuster :D

I also went back to using the plastic stock shock ends. The integy ends were fancy but I think they contributed to the bent shafts.
