Has anyone ever had major fitment issues with fastlane machine lcg chassis .. I'm trying to put my axial 32rr in and I'm using a stock motor mount on fastlane machine engine plate .. and I can not slid my engine enough to get the right supr gear set it seems like everything is too narrow any suggestions on how to correct this

P.s not buying another fastlane Machine product ever again the amount of cutting I've had to do for this is just unreal hopefully some one can give me good news

Sorry you are having trouble with the chassis, i don't have experience with any of the FastLane stuff but maybe a couple of pics of the trouble will help someone diagnose and help ya here....

Unfortunately anytime you mix stock and aftermarket parts you get the possibility for fitment issues. I've seen several cases of this over the years. Sometimes things can be remedied by elongating the mounting holes in the engine plate. Sometimes you have to take some material out of the TVPs. And sometimes you need to try a different engine mount.

As Jam said though, pictures would greatly help us help you fix this.

Tolerance stack... Sucks... Lol, I've never had a problem with Fastlane parts, have you contacted them at all?

As Jam and X have pointed out, sometimes these things require some tweaking, but only you can be the judge of what you find reasonable.

I'll try again and upload some pictures I tired yesterday with no luck .
What options do I have as far as different engine mounts go I could either go 1/4 lower on the engine mount or take 1/4 of the tvp but I'm afraid that if I take to much off the tvp it will eventually just Crack of I could even go a smaller spur gear and try that I really don't want to hack it up if I don't have too

Yea it was .. I still can't upload a pic I've tried resizing it and still ends up being to large for server ..
I ended up cutting her on the one tvp just over 1/4 hopefully she holds up there is not much material left on it

Just bought some flm stuff for my xl build. Three where great to deal with, i would e mail them and tell them what's going on
