    Brake rubbing on clutchbell

I was running my savage with out the little roll cage provided and when i kept flipping it over from the wheelies , the motor was acting as the roll cage and in turn causing the motor plate to bend ever slightly. You could not even hardly tell it was bent. Since i don't use the cage i bought the...

    picco

Can't tell you much about the picco's but i just finished tuning my LPR 28.R and its a beast for $169. For around $15 i bought a adapter that allowed me to take the pull start of and fit my hpi rotor start to it.

    Savage Won't Wheelie

Who wants to wheelie, it messes up your stuff. Its fun to pull a long wheelie, but i have stopped both of my savages from pulling the wheels off the ground(lowered suspension, loosen slipper, richen on lsn). Still gets the wheels up from time to time but doesn't flip over that often, and handles...

    Way to the brakes?

Whats the best way to get to the brake so they will come off on a savage x? How long does a transmission usually last before having to redo?

    Brake rubbing on clutchbell

I've have before, but this time i got some shorter shafts. Same thing but a little more pricey. I run the big bores. The truck seems to hold a line much tighter since alot of the travels gone, before it liked to sway alot. I was gona get the sway bar kit but its good to go now. Dose'nt take big...

Anyway, besides the recent problem the trucks are running nice and cool on the new Byrons 30% and the #8 McCoy(i was'nt expecting the cool temps). Lowering the trucks helped enormously with handling.

My motor plates are bent. I looked at them real closely and you could see that in the front they are swuped down a tad. I guess thats what i get for using my engine for a role cage instead of the supplied role cage.

Went over the whole truck the other day and put locktite on all the screws that were metal to metal. I did find somthing today, on both trucks a screw that holds the motor plate was snaped off. Maybe when i went over threw truck i over tighten the screws.

    Brake rubbing on clutchbell

Would love to send a pic but i don't own a digital camera. The brake disc closest to the clutch bell is rubbing the end of the bell. You can see the wear marks on the bell.

Checked the motor mounts and plates on both trucks and they are fine. I believe i must of had the gear mesh to tight. I'm gona buy a bigger spur and clutch bell to move it away from the center. Something like a 49/18 combo.
