Air in fuel line

I finally received the parts needed to finish my Savage and upon start up i noticed the carb wouldn't prime. I eventually was able to prime the carb but noticed large air bubbles in fuel line even after running for a bit the motor also would tend to race due to the air bubbles (leaning out carb)...
