    it turns out that the motor screws were coming loose and falling out so the motor could not stay connected to the spur gear

    if u zoom in on the clutch bell u can JUST see the two parts to it.

    not a single speed clutch bell, its a two speed, i know its hard to see but i know its a two speed.

    it is a two speed, it has a two speed transmission.

    yes i have submitted pics, one is on my message. i have a .15 hpi pullstart motor, i thnk its a piece of crap though. the spur gear it 52 teeth. its a two speed

    ok, thanks. i'll check it out when i am able too, i am tearing up the spur gear, and i don't know much about the truck. i had just got it used and the guy who owned it did NOT take good care of it. and I'm actually thinking on going single speed, whats your opinion on that?

    well thats the problem, the spur gear is TOO weak. i need something stronger.

    well i did have a look at everything. the diffs are fine. it turns out that the first gear in the tranny get worn out and just wont spin with the motor gears. can anyone help me find and hpi nitro mt METAL gear?

    i have a friend who is currently running a .28 traxxas t-maxx motor in his mt. he says it gives him good wheelies.
