I went out to tune and got frustrated.... the mill seemed lean at first, then as it came to temp it seemed too rich, so I adjusted accordingly, then it leaned way out...
Then I noticed a TON of baked on crap on the exhaust manifold, took it inside and found that the bottom of the cooling head...
Ok so I was putting the red fiber brakes on my SS and kept sliding the washer off every time I moved the tranny... Then I remembered what I used to do when I was a mechanic full time, use a dab of grease!
then place the washer on top...
And that will hold it on till the screw is...
