    Cooling head leak?

    I went out to tune and got frustrated.... the mill seemed lean at first, then as it came to temp it seemed too rich, so I adjusted accordingly, then it leaned way out... Then I noticed a TON of baked on crap on the exhaust manifold, took it inside and found that the bottom of the cooling head...

    it may throw the diff out of balance, but if you use a thin enough bead, you might be ok.... what about finding an o-ring instead?

    Ok so I was putting the red fiber brakes on my SS and kept sliding the washer off every time I moved the tranny... Then I remembered what I used to do when I was a mechanic full time, use a dab of grease! then place the washer on top... And that will hold it on till the screw is...

    i see no reason why not to either... it displaces the water, and I'm not running it again until i soak the whole thing in nitro.
