    Nice truck man. Just a note I’ve read the carbs on those expand and lean the engine out when they get hot. There is a Hobao carb pn E30020 that is supposed be the best alternative to a high end O.S., Alpha, or Nova carb.

    this is the one way set up. I don’t believe I can get away with say an SH style backplate with the way the one way works, the pin is on the bearing not the crank. correct me if I’m wrong. I cannot find a backplate that looks similar to this at all that would accept the one way bearing. If I can...

    Problem is that it is that the starter shaft and backplate seem to be proprietary. The shaft end is smooth on two sides only, every other one I’ve seen is hex style. I’m not sure if there is another shaft that could be the same size. I could be wrong about the backplate too

    Got my order from rc4me and wasted no time. Flux transmission with center diff ready to go. Diff oils are what Rich was running, 60F,100c,40r. 1972 C10 body on deck, already put liquid mask, need to stencil out the design. Engine should be here Wednesday if not Thursday now. Waiting on FullForce...

    @Richards1008 the rotostart on the STS ate itself this weekend and I have till Saturday to have a viable engine for my race. I ordered the pullstart Alpha like you have, how long did take to break in if I may ask? Gonna be burning some midnight oil in my shed come Wednesday looks like LOL.

    Resealed the engine, new air filter, installed servo (PITA), and installed a Dynamite 053 with custom hanger. Much help from the cats lol.
