    Melted spur gear?

    Mine was doing this too... found out that the Slipper Disc http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXVJ87 had really smoothed out and wasnt providing enough grip even tightened all the way down and a new spur pad.

    I hear that! Mine was the 4.5 kit. Laundry list of mods was huge... top few were: Woods driveshafts, Super 44 rear, Super 30 front, locked rear, ARB front locker, full Borla system, quick discos front and rear etc... Thing was an absolute beast.
