    the bearing does only spin one. its beyond that. The starter shaft spins but doesn't spin the motor over.

    See when when the bearing is on the starter shaft it still spins the shaft just not catching, not turning the motor over.

    ok so i pulled the cover plate off, pulled out the starting shaft, checked everything looks good of course my starting pin popped out put everything back together and still when i turn the starting shaft it just spins. pressure spring screwed?

    ok well it started yesterday i went to use my rotostart to start my truck and it just spins freely. so i pull my motor out, pull the backplate off check my bearing and it looks good but when i take the crank shaft thats sticking out, and turn it sounds like somethings loose or broken

    i had seen kits on eBay awhile back for the pull starts and only a few didn't come with the one way. any particular make of pull start better then another?

    well my one way bearing went and was looking around for a lil more i can get a pull start with the bearing. Is it worth going to the pull start over the roto start?
