K4.6 Serious Overheat!

It's my sons Savage SS K 4.6. This is not a new truck he has run it without a hitch for a couple of years. It sat for 2 years, he got it running the other day, with issues. He is using Blue Thunder 30% Nitro, an HPI R5 glow plug. Now this fuel is 2 years old perhaps this is some of the issue...
