    Antenna tube

    I had a hard time getting the antenna wire to run down the tube so i got a needle and some thread, dropped the threaded needle down one end of the tube, wrapped the thread around the antenna cord and yanked it through. Worked pretty well actually.

    Finally broke in!

    When I did my break in the pinch was really tight at TDC i had to get myself a heat gun, warm the engine up to about 180 then it was easy to turn over (and i have a pull start!) Also make sure to rotate the piston to BDC whenever the motor shuts off during the break in, otherwise the piston...

    Thanks guys, it came out better than i thought since this is my first attempt at painting. I was trying to keep the stickers to a minimum. Btw Cajunyankee its Gun Metal (ps-23) by Tamiya Color (Colour!) in case your interested.

    Finally finished painting. I Chose Gun metal black and red for the two colors along with a xxxmain graphics pack. Let me know what you think. Probably the cleanest it will ever be............

    Thanks guys ive had the truck out a couple of times since the break-in and I was amazed the whole time (Its my first nitro). This truck is awesome, great forum by the way!

    Ya thatnks CrawlinClodKiller, you were right. My clutch shoes were really tight so i to the clutch apart and made sure everything was installed correctly. The clutch bell is looser now. But should it be loose enough to spin freely (a couple of revolutions) or just loose enough to turn by hand?

    I think ive diagnosed my idle problems as being a clutch problem, it seems as though its grabbing all the time, I'm gonna pull it off and have a look tonight.

    True if water gets in it would just sit there and could be bad, same thing for the saran wrap method i guess. I think someone really needs to make a watrproof radio box with an o-ring for the savage. MotoPsycho do you open your servos and put the gel inside or just on the connector ends?
