I'm glad to see that other people want to use those motors. i want to get one i just wasn't sure if they would hold up. would that be the reason for the mech. brakes?
wow, i have been looking for that, now i need the other one that lets you tighten on the right side and losen on the left, then I'm set.
brass balls, I'm doing my x-mas shopping here.:)
looks fine to me. i wouldn't paint on a nasty day though. for some reason i have had no luck painting lexxan when its cold or wet, inside or out. on hot sunny days my paint STICKS!
I wouldn't reccomend it but i actually painted the outside of an old body flat black with some American Traditions spray paint from Lowes. it is still on there. it will not flake off my body at all. just look on the can to see isf it bonds to polycarbonate or lexan and other plastics. Do some...
If replacing the crystal doesn't work it may be where its attached to the reciever. if the solder joint isn't making a good connection it can get lose and it might cause that.
I have had a Duratrax F/S and it has saved me countless times. I don't usually trust the brand but i needed a cheap one to race at one track and i had to buy it. now i have three of them.
yeah they are not meant for very high tq motors, ur sol when u use an hpi motor they have power to spare. I'm in the same situation with my rear diff. its not meant to handle the brushless LiPo power. my last option i think is aluminum diff case and cup with my robinson gear. that should...
nah i would love to put in a center diff but in the 8 years i have been racing all my trucks have been legal. i remember seeing the diff mod for the front or rear end. there was some part in it about having to grind some material away from the losi case and trimming part of the chassis away...
i remember seeing a how to article a while back about putting a losi differential in a revo. it was back b4 i ever got my erevo and paid it no mind. now I'm running 6s and need anything that might help. i have looked all over can anyone help me somehow? thanks
one thing that i have heard that helps with the blur and mmm is to make sure the brakes are turned down a bit. and you should never have it set to go from forward straight to reverse. its fine on small 2wd brushed elec but the big monsters are terrible with that set up. i've had a mmm since...
yeah its quick. thanks to castle. i've had it for a little over a year now and i have just got the hang of driving it. i screwed myself at the punkin smash in two ways. first i had'nt driven it with the lipos(6oC maxamps 4s batteries) before race day. and i left my pinions at home. at the...
that makes me feel better. i though id pushed a button with you. i have seen you post to some no limit stuff. do you plan to make it to a NLVA race or the world finals sometime? I'd like to see how my Erevo could do up against your so called "slayer". :)
