    Have a look at the HPI Goliaths. I run them and find they work well on most surfaces and are long wearing. They're 17mm but come with hardware for pre-X trucks. They do have to be mounted on the HPI Blast or Tremor wheels though.

    Here's Goliaths on my X4.6: I run 49/17 gearing and it can still wheelie no problem but they're more controllable. I didn't have to alter the shift points in the tranny either and the extra top end is nice. I find it MUCH more stable in turns as well. It'll still roll over...

    Am I missing something or why does one need this? Why not just go for a roto or tiger start setup? Gotta be able to get one of them for most major motors..

    Who uses a body reamer?

    I use an Axial one - it looks like the Ofna above ^ I picked it cuz it came with a cap, some don't. I'll also use a Uni-bit stepped drill bit for holes in plastic or lexan. It works way better than a twist bit.

    Savage X Hump Pack battery

    I just assembled my own AA pack from 5 Energizer 2500mAh NiMH cells. I put it together as a 2+2+1 and it fits fine in the stock spot once I removed the ribs from the underside of the lid. :)
