I bought a Dynamite .28 because i was told they are easy to tune. the one i have is nothing but trouble. i have it on my Savage 25. i have learned a lot about tuning and such from reading and what jam Racing has helped me with.looks like that Dynamite is going on a shelf and my HPI 3.5 is going to replace it.

Which 28 do you have? I think they have a few.

What are the issues?

Did you try sealing it up?
yea i sealed it up the issue is i get it tuned good. and 5 minute later when i refuel it it won't start until take the HSN and LSP back to factory. i have done this more times then i care to count.

Is it old? Has it sat for a long time without use(many months)?

I have had engines that sat without use get the o-rings dried up. Then as it ran and warmed up, the needles would actually turn as it ran. Usually would lean them selves out on the HSN. Only had one that richened itself as it ran. After getting new o-rings, putting some green slime on them to help keep them fresh, the ability to tune came back and stayed where I put it.

Sometimes you can coax a bit of life out of dried o-rings by taking the needle out, leave the o-ring on it, drop it in a small cup of fuel overnight to soak. This helps swell them back up.

i bought it new back in October its has not sat around much.

Guess I have been either lucky or just good, I have had :ercm: from just about every manufacturer and have had good luck tuning them, I really like OS :ercm: but the price is high, but they do run a long time for the value factor, Currently my 2 newest :ercm: are a Force .32 in my XTM MMT and the Axial .32 I have in the Savage...

I am not buying motors because they are cheap i have learned a lot over the last few months. i bought what i was told i needed before i knew better. if i knew then what i know now thanks to the info you pointed me to, i would have gone with a better motor

I did the same thing when I got started. Went by the word of the LHS guy. Found out pretty quick he was just peddling garbage. That was before I found forums. Also was shortly after the wheel was invented... lol!

lol that's funny! I'm sure you are not that old btw i am thinking about sending the sleeve and piston from that 4.6 in for resize i don't have one. and it would be cool to get running like it should.
