Ok everyone ... i want to get my truck up and running asap...
I'm going to need help buying everything necessary for my motor upgrade after my recent crash causing my motor to ] ... Because i am new to everything electric on this side of the savage, I'm going to need some help... :bigsmilie:
List of what i need and what i have already made my mind up on... if you can make recomendations or give me your opinions that would be much appreciated.
- Neu-Castle 1520 1Y 1600kv :smiliejam: (do these motors come with bullet connectors already attached to them? or would i need to solder my own on so i can hook it to the ESC???

-Turnigy Pure-Silicone Wire 10AWG (1mtr) BLACK (goes from motor to ESC, is this adequate?)
http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=9672
- I know i need 6.5mm bullet connectors for the ESC... Are these correct?

- CC Blower Fan Shroud for Neu-Castle Motors (is it necessary?)

-Now i am not sure what motor mounts too use... Are there any after market mounts or Should i utilise my original ones and adapt them to slide over this new motor like:

Some pictures from the thread above...
- Another problem is after the crash i noticed my wire going from the ESC to the Receiver had been
Now i would resolder this connection, but i want to buy a suitable extension wire... ( i have a new idea about mounting it so it is in a safer location.)
Would these be suitable for the ESC? or is this just for the servo?

- I need some shrink wrap What would be a suitable size (mm) after i resolder this connection?
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=5205&Product_Name=Turnigy_2mm_Heat_Shrink_Tube_-_BLACK_(1mtr)
-Also while I'm at it and hopefully prevent something like this happening again... i will get some of these wire mesh protectors...

Now sorry about the long thread... but everyone likes pictures...
Hope you can just confirm everything that i have noted and anything extra you would recommend. I will be running my original MMM ESC.
