I just received my pipes from robin 2 big block side bleeds for my savages. I know we all like pictures so here they are, one polished one raw. Can't wait to try them out, from all the feedback I've heard I should be happy as. image.jpg image.jpg

Nice!! How long did it take you to get it? I tried to order one, I filled out the order form last week and got a confirmation and havnt heard anything since then. I guess he isn't to interested in getting my money or is very busy. If I do not hear anything by today, I am just going to order from someone else.

It took about a month and a half but I live in Sydney au. It's best to call him up about your order, he's busy this time of year he said. We'll worth the wait
 
Got mine paid for, I cant wait to get it!! Have you tried yours out yet?? How is the performance difference?? Just wondering if it is noticeable or is it just louder and seems like more, I have bought dirt bike pipes that were that way, they seemed like it produced more power because they had a more aggressive sound but when timed on a track they did nothing to improve performance.
 
I have been recommened these pipes by a lot of people so I decided to go ahead and get one, sent my money yesterday so now I just got to be patient. I ordered the big block end bleed in the raw finish. Robin said he is very busy this time of year but would get it out as soon as possible.

Na haven't been able to try them. On the weekend I'm planing to try them out. Glad you got your order sorted,I'm sure they will preform as good as thay look.
 
I got one pipe mounted up I had to mod the brace a little but it works ok. So some more picsimage.jpgimage.jpg image.jpg can't wait to give them a test run. The pipes are art work in them selfs
 
Got to mount the other pipe today and I'm a real fan of the raw finish. Hopefully over the weekend I can try them out.image.jpgimage.jpg image.jpg (As you can see I like taking pics)

Off topic, but I spy someone with a G8 GT. Lucky man, those are great cars.
 
I would be putting a deflector on those sweet pipes unless you want oil spit all over the truck tho :)
 
X your close it's a Holden ssv ute, pretty much the same as a G8, 6 speed around 400 bhp with a few mods it's a sweet ride. Jam, your right I have deflectors on hand. I want to give them a run first just to see the mess and go from there. And thanks woodie I'm sure I'll try with the video thing.
 
Ah, I was wondering with the V8 badge, as the G8s do not have those. You must be in Australia? Sad what they are doing to holden.
 
Yea X I'm a Aussie. Just an update I got to try one of robins pipes today, stock f4.6 17/47 gearing and I never got to do any WOT runs ( in my driveway) but the low to mid punch is great, the sound (awesome) my idle was high compared to the polished hpi pipe. When I get out for some WOT passes il fix that. I still have to try my other savage LRP 32 18/47 gearing out, but I'll update as I go. Also the pipe runs cooler than the hpi pipe.

It's killing me not being able to get out last weekend and really test them out, this weekend I will give them plenty of WOT and let you guys know my thoughts.
 
Update. I took both trucks out today after work to give the pipes a good test.
The F 4.6,this engine has about 8 litters+ run through it and my tuning skills are ok. it has always run strong. After warming it up and a few WOT runs I leaned the HSN 1/4 and a bit and Wow, the pipe is sweet. It revs so much faster than the polished hpi pipe. It was a blast to drive it was a totally different truck.
The LRP 32. I had only 9 tanks on it, I ran 6 more today and started giving it a more of a performance tune, and (dam) it's real aggressive low to mid rpms. I can't tell if the pipe made a difference cause the engine got tuned on this pipe, (but I'm sure it has) the pipes are great guys, they look sweet,sound great, and you gain performance. Well worth it (IMO)
But the difference with the F4.6 is night and day I'm just blown away by it, can't wait to get out again over the weekend and run the trucks again.

I wish I would have ordered one of these, but I already had my other pipe ordered when I came across ercm...of course I'm pretty sure my pipe and battery both got lost in the Monsey, New York Post office. The tracking says it arrived on the 4th and hasn't left yet...it was supposed to be here the 6th.
If it don't show up soon, I'll be ordering one of the side bleeds, because next week the rest of my parts will be here and I'll be held up by the pipe.
 
I love mine. I got the end bleed, it is awesome!! The LRP 32 and this pipe make a lot of power.

Glad you got your pipe chrome. I wish I got one of mine in end bleed so I could compare the two of them.
