Hi i am looking for 2 new savox servos for my savage xl. One for the steering and on for the tb/brake. What ones would be best. Thanks
 
What kind of price range are you wanting to be in?

For steering the Savox 1256 is a power house of a servo for steering pumping out 277oz/in & the Savox 1258 for the throttle/brake.

I also use savox. I've run the sc-1256 and sc-1258 on two savages for the last 2 years with out a problem. I do use a (Novak) glitch buster on both trucks. Power hungry servos!
 
do You think a servo with such dimensions would fit savage flux hp without any mods?

if yes towerpro has really cheap 25kg/cm servo with metal gears
 
them 2 servos would be fine cost wise. i have been searching for the servo and i am finding 2 types for each. the 1256 and the 1256tg same with the 1258. what is the difference?
 
thats what i thought. iif you read the description for both tg and non tg they both say titanium gearing. but on the sticker on the sever the tg is missing on the non tg one and the price is less for this one
 
Do you have a link to the non-TG version? I'm not able to find any info about it. My guess though is if there is a non-TG model that would likely mean plastic gears which is something you wouldn't want in a steering servo. I'd stick with the Savox 1256TG.
 
The link for modelsport is just a mis-print as you mention X as the product image clearly shows the correct model of 1256"TG" on the label and side of the servo.

The Servodatabase is interesting as the product image even shows just "1256", however the specs from my quick glance looks to be similar. No idea.
