the cups on my truck are dissolving from the 2s power. I got 3s batteries now so i will definitely need to upgrade to stronger ones. Any suggestion??
 
I've also read that a few people are using HPI Wheelie King cups as a step up. They might take some minor modification to work though.
 
honestly i just want something that works out of the box...i don't like to do any modifications because I'm not that good with that stuff. i went through it before and it didn't work ended up just wasting money.

i appreciate the advice thought thats for sure. i bought the HR cups already and they're on their way thanks to you. ill post some pictures when i have the chance.

well unfortunately nothing "out of the box" works well for long.... thats why the hop up market is so great, caz we can keep them running alot longer........ still looking forward to some Pix of your lil rig......

Nitro, the second link that you posted I believe is for the outdrives that are on the diff that go to the wheels. Unless those are the ones that are wearing out, you'll need different ones that go in the center that mount on the diff side. The description in the listing has a stock part # that they replace, double check the manual to make sure your getting the right ones.

Just got home from work (Yes it's 2:40 am) and I was right about the second link you posted. I can't remember the condition of mine, but I don't think the outdrives in the diff to the wheels are wearing out. Only the center ones on mine are. I'll try to remember and double check tom during the day.
 
if there is anyone who is considering buying HOT RACING drive cups for the savage xs because they're stronger... i advise against it because they will get worn out just as fast!!!! waste of money buying them therefore just keep buying the stock ones that are half the price and will last the same!

i accept that fact that they will get worn out but i don't accept the fact they get worn out just as fast as the stock ones. Since they're after market and they're almost triple the price as stock i think they should last triple the time not the same.

well after all NN is only steel and plastic.... runnin 3 s is hard Hard HARD on parts, simple fact of the matter........
 
Sorry NN that's just the way it goes, research any aftermarket parts you plan on buying before you buy it
 
Logic says that if you constantly have issues at 3s, then back it off to 2s. What's the point of having more power if you can never have it running for more than a couple minutes?

ya ......i think you're right guys but some of those parts were due for repairs... I'm going to wait a little longer and see what happens....
 
Can someone please answer because this is the only chance it's gonna work.
