I have a savage HP Flux. When I turn it on it just resets it self. I'll try to run it then after about 4 seconds it brakes dead stop. Hooked up with USB link. Looks good. Charged batteries. Cut the switch out and soldered ends. Unplugged steering servo to see if that would help out. No good. Changed batteries in remote and still no good. I think I have a bad ESC. Sucks cause I haven't had it a month yet.

If ESC is bad and HPI gives me a new should I still go buy another one? Herd the mamba monster pro is good?

Waiting to borrow my friends batteries, maybe I have a bad cell. Not sure. That's what I'm hoping.

Have you taken a meter to the balance connector to verify if all cells have around 3.7-4.1 volts on them after charging? If one is low, or dead, then you have your problem. (assuming your battery is a LiPo)

Yes I have LiPo just no meter. Could wait till I go back to work to try that. Thanks. It's the only thing I can think of unless the ESC is screwed up.

Let us know what you find, we'll try to help out further when you check that.

Ok With it keep cutting out did u do a battery change say from like 6s down to 5s or 4s?

Not sure what you mean. I have 2 2S 25C 5000mah batteries. I busy do a fast charge and about every 5 times I do a balance charge. I tried to discharge then recharge. It actually lasted about 20 seconds then resets. Before all that is was about 5 seconds then resets. That's why I think its my batteries.

Went to the hobby shop and he hooked it up for me. I need to buy a USB cord. He said everything looks good.

So I hooked up 2 3S LiPo and it worked fine. Guess it was my batteries after all. Thanks to everyone who tried to help.

Good to hear you found the issue. check with the manufacturer of the batteries, if you haven't had them too long they may honor them under warranty. Assuming you haven't "abused" them.

I will do that thanks. Only had them for a month. I wouldn't say I abused them. Very new to all this but have been doing my homework.
