Big bore shock question

I just got the hpi big bores installed and noticed that there is a bit of slop in the upper cap from the pillow ball. It doesn't seem to be big enough. I'm not sure if this might cause some problems down the road, possibly a broken upper cap from the excess movement. Has anyone tried anything else, or different pillow balls to eliminate the slop? I also noticed there is some back/forth play in the upper shock area, but not to concerned about that.

Neohio will become famous soon enough
SunkenMetal had a thread about them as well. Might help you narrow it down.

Just got the standoffs in the mail today. I noticed I need a bit longer screw to mount them. No biggie. I noticed it puts the shock a bit more forward than the original equipment. Will this put any more strain on the shock shaft? I will have to check out that thread and see if there is any pics of them installed. Thanks for the info so far!
