Hi all,'Sorry I did'nt get back sooner but that flu was really a killer, Im still not 100% yet but Im good enough. Well I just finished the break-in on my RS4 3evo, the first time I started it, it fired right up and idled great for two tanks of fuel, the temp never got above 96 degrees, that was yesterday ( every time I went outside with the car I had to wait until my wife was gone, she'd have a fit if she knew I was outside instead of "resting-up" on the couch), since Monday it's been storming here, and the weather has been cool. Today it was 61 degrees and the rain had stopped, when I put the car on the street it would hardly move and was spitting fuel out of the exhaust like crazy, but I ran it like that with one tank of fuel., the factory settings for the T-15 engine are 3 turns open, but for the second tank I closed the high-speed needle 1/8th turn, but still it was no better, about halfway through the second tank I closed the needle another 1/8th turn, and things started to get better. I never went over halfthrottle during break-in and the engine temp never went above 98 degrees. I ran the car on the third tank with no adjustments, on the fourth tank I closed the needle another 1/8th turn, and halfway through the fourth tank I closed the needle another 1/8th turn. Halfway through the fifth and last break-in tank I started to get on the car and she was running really well, twords the end of the fifth tank I was openning her all the way up, she was running well and shifting into second gear just fine, there was a nice cloud of blue smoke and it for sure was running cool, I closed the high speed needle 1/2 turn total, does that seem about right? I really can't tell if the car is running as fast as it should because I've never seen another car run before so I have nothing to judge it by!!!??? But it seems like it's not quite as fast as my Savage X, anyway Im real happy with the car, any thought, opinions, critisisms will be appriciated. I'll say one thing though she handles like a dream, she can turn on a dime, it's amazing how well, and easy it is to drive this car, I don't think I could flip this car even if I wanted to. With the car going away from me, halfway in the right lane, at about 3/4 speed, I can turn it hard left and before I know it, she's in the left lane comming back to me, it's really COOL.
