I was just wondering if all tuned pipes would be compatable with my savage x and wondered if they were all good. i really like the dual exaust systems from TSAIS, will these improve performance or no?
Thanks...

Be careful with the rear exaust.. If you land hard on the back..their just went your Pipe..

Most two-piece pipes (the header and pipe are connected by a silicone coupler) CAN work on a Savage, but it's best to stick with a pipe designed for the Savage simply because that puts the pressure nipple and stinger on opposite sides of the pipe. If you run a buggy/truggy pipe, the pressure nipple will be against the TVP because it's only 90-degrees separated from the stinger location. It'll work, usually, but it can be a pain. The easiest thing to do is get a pipe for the Savage from HPI because they come with a mount that makes installation super easy. Personally, I think the #86138 Polished Aluminum Pipe is probably the best of that bunch for all-around performance and it's only $30.
