How long before a rebuild???

I was wondering when a rebuild (replacing sleeve/piston/rod) is necessary I have a spare s25 engine and i was thinking of porting it. I have ran about 5 gallons through it and was curious if i should replace any of the major components. The engine still runs great has lots of power and has given me no problems!! I think if it aint broken dont fix it but your opinions would be great????

It depends on if you are racing your savage or just bashing it. If you are just bashing it then I would keep running it untill it won't stay running for more then 5 minutes. When you hit that point you know it has had a good life and it is time to replace sleeve/piston/rod.
