Since I didn't want to worry about the body too match, I copied a roll cage (I'm sure I saw it somewhere in the forum). Made it out of stainless still rod. It proved to be excellent protection. Made a simple tank shield along with protection for under the chassis. Haven't regretted it since I'm new in driving these monsters... I also made a very simple weely bar!! A piece of air hose and a bearing that fits the size tied with tie-wraps. It is cheap and it does work. OK it doesn't look too cool I admit. I love my new toy and doing a lot of reading in your forum really does pay! You guys are great.
Thanks for all the info you share with me even without knowing it.

Looks like it should work. It will more than likely bend where the stock roll bar is unless you add some more support there.

well, the cage is made out of 5mm stainless steel rod and s.s. doesn't bend easily... I've tried it from 1m drop and all is OK. To me, the towers will give in / brake first and then the cage will bend...plus, the roll bar (made out of 1,5 s.s. plate) kind of supports the cage allthough they are not welded together.
