my xss saggs when sittin still i changed to 40wt and it still saggs wat could be wrong?

throw up a pic. what shocks & springs you got on there? any plastic clips to compress the shock spring? :coolkid01:

well the reason why it still saggs is because oil viscosity pretty much has nothing to do with supporting the vehicles weight. the springs are the components that support the weight of the truck not the oil. the shock oil controls spring ocsillation. it will have an effect on the stiffness of the suspensions rebound and compression but its the springs that will bring the truck back up to the proper ride height. get stiffer springs or use more clips.

yea bro, like jman said, you can just put some of the clips on there to compress the spring & it should raise it up for ya.

some peeps remove the clips when they put on street tires & run the road cuz it lowers the center of gravity & helps turning a bit better :drunk:

Yep add some spacers. this is also a trick to make wheelies easier if you add more spacers to the rear shocks. Keeps the rear from squatting so much on take off so the front wheels come up with less effort.

when you store the truck when your not using it throw somthing under it so it takes the weight off the wheels and shocks, it prevents flat spots on the tires and also wont cause wear on the shocks.
the springs get soft if they just sit with the 10+lbs pushing on them

no problem man glad to help, just remember the shocks last longer if you store it with somthing under the truck to support it other then the shocks.
