Is there a base tune for a Savage 25 motor?
Just bought a Used savage 25, and cant get it to run right!

If the motor is broken in, follow this:
1. Slowly turn your low speed need in all the way closed, then;
2. Turn out low speed needle 2 3/4 turns, then;
3. Set high Speed needle at 2 3/4
That should definetely get you going. If not, they are other problems.
High speed gets adjusted first...
then tune low.

Do I close the high speed needle in too, then wind it out 2 3/4 turns?

As far as i know yes.. You can go to HPI's website and it will show you..or tell you. Is it getting primed fully?

Yeah, it gets fully primed! I haven't got the engine manual, so its kinda hard to get a base tune!

Yeah, been on the site and downloaded the car instruction manual. But couldn't find an engine manual.
