Hey all,
Just wanted to post here and intoduce myself to you all. Been into R/C for about 20 years now, but always had a mainline store r/c vehicle. This last one was a 4x4 electric from Radio Shack. This one was alot of fun, but it has now been passed to my 3 year old. Just picked up the Savage X and am getting ready to run it through the break in stuff today. Fortunatly, while I know I can do it myself, Savageman46 is supposed to be coming up to help me with the stuff he learned the expensive way. I have seen that No Limits RC of MD has started up here and is sheduling a good amount of races. Looking forward to meeting those guys and attending some of their events.

Hey fool, should I tell everybody you drove your truck today and didn't break it?:lmao:
Glad to help, that truck runs great and I'm sure you'll be racing with Mike and the rest of the NLMD gang soon.

You didn't break it??!!
Good to have ya!!
They always break a lot when you first learn how to drive them, mainly because everyone just wants to run full throttle all the time.
I got my maxx broke in yesterday. I am going to stat racing Supermaxx and let the General chill for a few races.

Not a problem. The farm was not as I had expected it would be. The fields were way to soft. Thought there would be alot more for jumps and stuff, but they were a little less than what I originally hoped. I am sure we will meet up at an event soon. I am thinking about the dash for cash coming up. I figured I would donate some money in return for a little track exp.

May not have broke it, but it wasn't for a lack of trying. I guess I will have to get better at it. Funny though how I had no problem breaking Joe's truck right before a race.
You have a farm? wanna host an event? lol

Nope, no farm for me. My wifes family has worked at a local farm in Severn. All 7 of the kids did, and her brother still does, so that is where we went. Rumor has it they may be selling to a developer, but for now they are still actively planting. So that was the issue. Couldn't go where I was hoping to. I am going to have to find a place to really run around and play, my neighbors don't mind but I have a TINY yard.
That's why I started NLMD. We were running out of bashing spots. Just look for jobsites, developments, etc. They usually have some nice dirt piles and such. If you know where people ride their 4wheelers or dirtbikes around you that might be an option also. oh, the local skateboard parks are fun too.
