WOW, it has been a while since I have been on here. Glad to see the site is going good. I am in the process of doing a mid tank mod on my racer. This is what I have so far...
LCG Racing TVP's
hollowed out lower arms
shaved knuckles
Custom shock towers w/ T-Maxx shocks
Mugen Prospec tank

I am waiting on the tank to get here right now. Here are pics of what I have so far...

are you the one who made those shocktowers? They look familiar.

Yes I designed and made the towers myself.

did you have a company that made those? They look really familiar, but I don't want to say the name, just in case it's not you, lol.

I made them in my garage, no company did it for me. I am trying to find someone to help me make them though. I have had quite a few people ask for them but I make them with a dremel!

look great those shock towers.. must be difficult to make two of them axactly the same.. when you use a dremel ...real nice job you did there

have you already bin driving those hollowed susparms??..they look very weak now.. maybe i'm wrong ..and doesn't it remove a part of the stiffness in the complete suspension??

It doesn't seem too much weaker. It does flex a little more than before but nothing has broke on me yet. As for getting the towers to match, it took a lot of sanding to match them up as close as possible.

Well I got my tank in the other day, it is a 125cc MBX ProSpec tank. It took a little fitting and creative thinking to get it to fit the way I wanted it to. It slightly rubs on the steering linkage but nothing to hurt it. I used a piece of plastic I got that looks like diamond plating for my mount. I just need to get boxes for my battery and RX. I even tilted it back a little bit so I get all the fuel out of the tank. I had to notch out the cross brace where the reverse part of the tranny is. It isn't really screwed in to anything in the back but it is not going to move!
