tranny shifting

hi i have a savage X and it will not sift right
i will shift every now and then but not very often unless you hit a bump
then it will shift . and there is a bunch of metal shavings in the tranny housing any help would be appriciated

if you got metal shavings in the tranny, stop driving immediately and take it apart.
did you buy your sav recently?
if so I advise you to take it back to the lhs and don`t take it apart yourself, if it was delivered to you this way they should fix it or send it back to HPI.
to know what`s wrong you first have to find out where the shavings come from.
if you`re too late and the warranty is void anyway I advise you to rebuild the tranny cause when you keep driving it this way it will only get worse and before you know it you have put in a complete new tranny.
