View Full Version : Its arrived
well after probably the longest 5 week wait its here, my new savage X. :D
I've already put two tanks thought I and cant wait untill tomorrow when I can take it out and start to get it broken in.
ive noticed that the spur gear runs wonky as it spins, like a buckled bike wheel  . is this ok? I was thinking of re-mounting it, do you think I should?

you can always try...but i don't think its much of a problem.. depends on how much it wobbles mine does it to but its not much and i don't really notice anything of it when i'm driving

already broken them twice.. and now i have to till i have monet again to buy new ones
Cheers for all the advice. I tried to re mount the spur but it didn't change the wobble but it running fine and isn't showing any unusual wear. i've done 9 tanks now and starting to get my first wheelies :D .

hey spud, where are you running your savvy? anywhere good down there by the sea?
im going to finish the basic tuning up at parker school as its really flat and there is a couple of small jumps there. im definatly going to go to the beach near galley hill as there are some cliffs for hill climbing.
oh and you will be pleased to know i only got screwed a little for import charges, my x came in at just under £320 so made a little saving on buying in the uk :D
