welcome to this great forum.
go for the os max, it`s a good engine and it has a lot of low end torque.
as soon as I`m finished building my 3-speed I`m gonna get one myself.

I was told that i need to upgrade my drive shafts and dog bones if i get this motor. Is this true or will the stock ones hold in there for a while?

hey,

I've just recently bought an O.S30 Max, haven't yet installed it, rebuilding my car completely. I'm running a 3 speed also so it should fly. My car has the heavy duty drive shafts as it was a 25 SS, but as to wether the car would be ok on standard running gear and an O.S 30 I'm unsure, I plan to shim my gear box and diffs up too, this engine is a beast.
