Hey I'm new to the forum and new to the savage. The weather finally warmed up enough up here in Ontario, Canada and I took it out and was able to get a good tune. I made the mistake of leaning the LSN and made a first pass in the lot with the body off, right over backwards! I broke the antenna, gouged the head, both body mounts, and rollbar. This things got balls, the 4.6 is amazing, I'm used to small blocks and poo-maxxes. I also got a new raminator at the same time, the m26 has similar size, wieght and power, but is nothing like the savage! I am going to have to learn how to drive all over again, and definetely in need of a wheelie bar, any recomendations? I also broke the antenna and wire right off the reciever about halfway up, can I pull the reciever apart and replace it right from the base of it, because repairing it halfway up, I won't be able to route it through the antenna tube, any ideas, thanks alot!

Welcome abord bud, we are glad to have you joined here. Lots of great info and people here.

As for wheelie bar the HPI one is the best as it flexs and goes back to shape with out cracking and so on.

We work hard to keep this forum clean and as much of a family atmosphere as we can. Enjoy and good luck with your new purchase.

welcome to the forum!!! as far as wheelie bars go the hpi is a good choice however i decided to grab a different one its a wheelie bar-drag bar combo so to speak you can adjust it to ride long wheelies or put it down so it only lets the front lift a inch or so for amazing hole shots without loosing control its called the spurrs wheelie bar, grabbed it off the guy who builds them, he's on ebay if ya hang on a sec i'll find out what the ebay store is called! ok his ebay store is mdf 0304 and he was a super guy to deal with!! price for it was $24.99 so check that out if your interested

Welcome to the forum and its great to have you here. A wheelie bar is probably a good investment. I should probably get one to reduce the number of bodies I have shredded.
