I have the stock radio with my savage and everything is stock except for the rims . What do yall think abouit the stock radio system.

been workin great for me but you have the X which is a 2 channel i have the S-25 (3 channel)

ohh alright. well i think its a good radio. i havent had any problems with it

it's a very good entry level radio......the only reason i don't run mine any more.is i like the short antenna of the spektrum system,the built in fail safe,and the no channel conlicts.....i run both trucks with the same radio now.

I run a Nomadio Sensor with my truck. Mainly for the same reasons as Savageo28. It has a short antenna (don't get broken when you roll!), built in fail safe, no channel conflict, tells you the engine temp, rpms, and speed realtime. Its an awsome unit, but its not cheap! You can customize it heaps. It connects to your PC via a USB cable so you can adjust all the settings there, or on the controller itself. Check it out at the Nomadio web site! I have found that the after sales service provided by Nomadio is excellent too.
