Well, I was about to buy the savage x rtr from towerhobbies.com but then I was $20 short so I ended up trading a guy my Movado watch for his Traxxas T-Maxx with Ofna Picco .21 Big Block and many other mods and that is where the addiction started.. That was about 2 weeks ago, yesterday I traded one of my computers for a Savage X SS and so far I love it but I ended the day today by breaking the gas tank, I bought it with a broken tank and now I have to order a new one lol.. Anyways, I was wondering if the Axial .32 motor was any good?

The Axial .32 Is Pretty Good. The Motor To Have For The Savage Is The Lrp .28 SpecIII That Motor Will Tear Up Any .28 Motor Out And Almost Every .32 Out. The Lrp Is Redicilous Power And Reliable. The Axiel Is A Good Motor To Though Don't Get Me Wrong But I Would Buy The Lrp SpecIII If It Was Me. Hope This Helps And Welcome To The Site.

Welcome to the site! I'm up in the twin cites. Also if you need parts go to SMF (www.smfstore.com). They are based near me in minnesota and have always been great to deal with.

Hi welcome to the forum, I don't have a personal prefrance. I think with every motor you get good ones and you get bad ones lets be real the parts for the motors are mass produced so anything can go wrong and when something does that is were you get differant people's preferances. As far as I know the LRP and the Axial are comparative my husband has both and his freind has two LRP"s now my husbands Axial the front bearing started leaking after a gallon but if you ask some people that can happen in any motor the bearings they put in there stock are s**t and alot of people tell you to change them right away. The LRP's his freind has seem to be holding up good so far. I think whatever you think is right go for it.:Xfingers:

Worthington is in the south west corner of MN.

As for the Axial I will never buy one again, as I just sold my RR after running 3/4 of a gallon the trying to work with Axial and get the thing fixed as the Front bearing was leaking like a sive, the engine wouldnt hold a tune at all and the OWB was shot already. They did replace prety much everything but it was a pretty good fight. There is a post around here about it but there customer service was tarabel. There are many people who have complained about them. I would deffanetly try the LRP if I were you but I am going to get the Picco P3 .28 as it is one of the best motors for the price besides the LRP.

from what i've read the axial 28 spec 1 is a reliable motor and has a fair amount of power but the rr's the one having the most problems!!

I am really excited to have the savage x ss and the hyper 7, can't wait to see what the hyper 7 can do, the guy I bought it from was jumping it over his yukon today and 2 of the rims broke from it being so damn cold out but everything else held up totally fine.
