I'm new to nitro and this is a head scratcher.
I just installed a .28 wasp on a older .25 Savage. I also installed new clutch shoes and springs HPI#87151 at the same time. Im trying to break in the motor but I cant get the clutch from engaging unless I drop the idle down until it stalls. The other needles are set rich for break in purposes. Do I need stiffer springs to delay clutch engagement?

i tried using the black springs that came on the hpi 25 clutch & had to go with the gold coloured ones........or you could change to a new works adjustable clutch.........i put that on about a week ago & it works great on the wasp.......
