savage x shock preload spacers

i saw a forum awhile ago and someone was talking about taking off the shock spacers so i tried it and the truck sits way lower and looks awsome so is this ok to do as long as im not pulling 30 ft jumps and stuff lmao?

I used to do that, you'll be fine. IMO put some 40 weight in the shocks if your gonna do that though.

is the 40 weight absolutely necessary if im not jumping it?

so what are you trying to achieve, just a lower ride height? It's like the same concept for real cars, you can't just drop the coils without changing struts/shocks. If you're running the lighter stock oil, then you'll bottom out the suspension quicker and easier vs running a heavy oil to help soak up some of the shock.
