install of reverse module. couple of ???'s

well i putr the reverse model in my truck and now i dont know what i need to do with the bearing and the plastic thing? do i just not reuse the bearing or plastic thing??? or did i need to put the bearing back in?? man those instructions suck?!!! no words or anything. only pictures so can any one help.

i take it by placstic thing you mean the cover that you have to remove to install the reverse module? if so yes this does not get re-used.

as for a bearing left over? i didnt have any when i put reverse in

sounds like the bearing should be inside the gearbox

well its the bearing carrier that is screwed on from the front. it has a beraring in it.
