that poor motor sure sounds like its hurting a little ! what pipe are you trying to run on that STS ? as its not making much power for a STS IMHO, you have more power hidden in that setup ....great video though !!!

Yea I know the low end was a little rich I never touched the needles that day... I am running the sts 403 pipe.. I am running 20% (only b/c the lhs didn't have 30) I also just removed 1 brass shimm.. should I remove more ? (remember iam only running 20 at this piont. ) Also It was runnning really good on the top end just had it rich for bashing)!!! thanks for looking guys.

Yea its the sts pipe !!! Iam right at 3 gallons (just opened it ) I bought the pipe right after I got the mill.. Its the dm30 also.. it came w/ 2 silver shimms and 2 brass shims.. squish band ???? have no clue what that is (do u meen thickness of the shimms or what how do u do this thanks )

Iam sick of wheelies man no matter what gearing I use the front comes up I tryed loosing the slipper clutch but that makes the spur gear get to hot and strippes for me !!! thanks for the comment jason !!

Nice SJ. Better to test shocks IF you land on the wheels I reckon though. Is that the same body or a new one? I can't seem to make one last more than a month, unless it doesn't get run. Anyhow, hope you had a good 4th. I went and wheeled the samurai myself, felt good, been to long.

Sj sounds to me like you have all thoughs motors running good. very impressive vids. I like the area you live around. I'm going to try my hand at making so vids of my annual camping trip. We go up to the serria's for 9 days. hope theres no fires this year...think I have my sav runnin better than it has in a while now..been pleged with little crap it seems for a while. Hope thats over. any way hope you had a good 4th dude.

Thanks man it was great. I love Washington's weather climate is always mild, rains allot, but a little weather proofing helps the savage.. The only thing is I live in the city so bashing spots are few and far between,

My spur gear was getting chewed up in the videos and, finally gave out on me in the last video.

Hope your illness is gone and, would hope we can see some of you and your savage bro

I thought it looked shinier than the last time I saw your truck that is a pretty sweet looking body. I need to get mine out again so I can bust up my bodies somemore. but last time we bashed the baja was a virgin, and held up real well. And the ford body doesn't seem to run to well. Or freq problems plague it.lol Its apart now awaiting parts and need to rebuild rear diff and put new turnbuckles on the Baja. Catch ya soon. L8tr.

You are probably right but I have a hardened diff here I am going to put together and in ffirst but when they go I will definitly go to the cen diffs. Sound like you have had good luck with yours and they are definitly stronger looking

I broke two clutch springs just tooling around in the front yard this afternoon. Who would have thunk? It didn't hurt the nova clutches or the clutch bell however.

What gearing is it and what type of springs are you running on the shoes? Seems a little lazy off the line but sure pulls nice from mid to higher end. Kind of what I expected as that crank is realy strung out lol. Looks good :)

Running 47/17
Running some 1mm springs w/ integy alloy shoes
only has 4 tanks on it after break in.. I also installed ex chassis the other day .. it was flipping itself over yesterday.. I never touched the needles today probably could be tuned a little ..I just ran w/ it tho.. Runs really hard man
