CB/Spur Question

I used to use a steel spur............don't flame me. Anyway I have realized how wonderful having a plastic spur is. My question is can I use my hardened heavy duty clutch bell with a plastic spur? Will it wear the spur faster? Thanks, FX.

i think it should go well hardend only means it has a hardened shell.

I have used a hardened clutch bell on the same plastic spur for a few gallons withs no issues. ;)

hardned cb will make no difference than a stock cb to a plastic spur as plastic is softer less hard wearing etc than any steel.
only thing to wtach out for is uneven wear on the CB teeth as this will eat plastic spur.
