Ok I am jelous with ENVY. Those are sick. Nice match up. What do you think of the weight of the wheel itself?
it has some weight to it but i think with the 3speed trans and the K4.6HO it will be alright as long as i don't start having diff problems

Real nice those look way hot. I prefer the black chrome to chrome as well. they really dress up that otherwise stock look. Nice choice.

thirded on the black chrome!
i think they compliment the whole rig, instead of drawing attention to themselves, away from the truck. a good choice imo. well done buddy
Thanks samisavage and HS. I'm glade that everyone here likes it.
well i ran the new wheel tire combo today and i love it. Road-hooks up an hauls a$$ truns very well and rides smooth no vibrations at WOT. Grass- hooks up very well and turns very well braking grip is great. All around i really like this wheel and tire combo. I would like to thank JT for sugesting this tire to me.

Hey, nice looking. I just purchased the 8 spoke beadlock wheels myself, My question for you is how did you get the bead inside the grove. The bead on my stock tires are so thick that it just wont fit inside the groove. Did you cut anything? DO you know if the stock tires will fit this application? How did you get it to work? I 've looked at other tires and it seems as though all the beads are as thick. Oh yeah Are those tires 17mm? Sorry so many questions just at a lost here. Help me if you can.
these are 40series wheels your stock tires will not work on these you will have to buy a set of 40series tires. they have adaptors for 14 and 17mm that come with they if you need any more help just let me know.

Thank you so much, a little info goes a long way. I think I will just go with 14mm rims to run stock tires.

Does any tire fit in them or you have to buy ones for bead locks ???

Any regular MT size tire will fit.

If yo are looking at Axial bead locks rims...they are designed to fit the 40 series tires, Maximizer bead locks would be needed if you wanted to use the standard size tire.

Cool rims dude. like the black chrome big time. My bro has a chrome set w/ proline street wides and keeps pop'in the bead out. Just thought I'd let you know. The all-terain tires will likely stay mounted alot better. Let us know if you have any issues and good luck with them.

Jt - is right Axial is a 40 series wheel where as Maxmizer is a standard wheel.
I didn't know that, just learned something new.
Yes thank you JT and Hop it is nice to see that some members still do their research before they guide others in the wrong direction.
Doobeewha i do every now and then have a problem with the bead poping out but not very often and thank you for the kind words.

You said you sometimes have a bead pop out. What conditions caused it? Also did you rough of the bead faces with some rough sand paper first? I like the way these look, but if the bead pops with hard bashing, I will have to use maximizers as I know the bead will not come out.

My bud has the axials with Proline street wides that don't quite mesh with the groove in the rim. This makes the rim and ring not seat deep enough to grab the tire effectively. Hitting a bump the size of a broom handle can pop the bead loose.

sorry for the delay in responce. the only time i have a problem is when i hit alot of WOT or power slide or land a jump really bad. other then that i have no issues with them. Thank you for you interest
I just want to make sure that everyone knows that this wheels/tire combo adds alot of weight to the truck which means their is alot of added stress to the drivetrain. Keep this in mind if you are thinks about doing a wheel/tire upgrade like this. I am not in anyway trying to talk anyone out of this just making sure that everyone is aware of it. But i would also like to add other then the weight of them i do like them they are a great wheel/tire after you beef up the things they tend to break. I would suggest them as long as you wanted to upgrade parts to make the truck able to handle them and not break all the time.
