This it the top most one on my Flux tranny.

Was just doing some light bashing in the dirt.

Is this the best upgrade for this gear?

make sure you get all the metal shards out before you reassemble with a new gear

just came back from my LHS, it's $29.99 + tax for the HD version, $7.99 for the original. I just got the HD version off eBay for $15.

ah, I was gonna tell you to call HPI before spending cash. The HD gear is now stock in the Flux because the older one was a weak point. I'm not sure if they're offering to replace those with the HD gear like they did the diffs when the BPs came out, but it's worth a shot for anyone else who breaks one.

Got a reply back from HPI really fast, they are shipping out a free gear. Contacted the eBay seller to cancel the transaction. Everything is cool now. Thanks HPI!

Nice! HPI stands behind their product like no-one else in the industry.
