i dont know of any of the threads showing it but im sure you can .. just the same as an extended tvp... remove the battery box n servos from front .. put a servo tray in its place and run the throtle / brake servo in the rear next to the motor and use the ofna 125 cc tank in the batery boxd lcation .... only difference in a x tvp n the extended is theres a added 2 inches behinde the engine .. from engine forword they are the same ..flms tvps have more holes for different variations of tank n servo possitions ect .. but basically all the same ..maybe someone will throw some links on threads for you ... if you want i can give you links to the 125 cc tank n post . .. good luck ..i say just do it n mod what needs done as you find it.. itll work..

max is right, ive seen guys do it with the flm servo plate or prc servo plate and just drill a hole in the stock tvps for the bolt on the crossmember on the rear of the plate.

this is how i just did a mid tank for my sons build on stock tvp's.
started with a 125cc ofna tank and box.

gutted the inside of the tray so the tank sat flush and level, making sure the steering servo would be able to go back in it's stock location.

notched out the cover for clearance around the tank.

this is what i ended up with.

also mounted the on/off switch on the cover. kinda ####eyed but ,thats what happens when you got big fingers and trying to fabricate small parts.:FarleyParty: :duh:

Here is the one I did on my savage 25, with only parts I had laying around in the garage. Although I did not like the run times of the 125cc tank, stock is 160cc.
Here is the thread -->>Budget midtank (http://www.hpisavageforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11521)

Used the stock tank mounts to hold on place (had to cut down alittle)

Not an ideal radio box but it worked LoL

Good luck on your project! Don't forget to post some pics for us :)
