I sold my beloved Savage last summer in order to race truggies.
Unfortunately, that left me with nothing to bash with! Enter one heavily used Savage roller purchased all the way from Alaska! Add my own trusty S-25 motor and XTM pipe, JR XR3 radio and a nice new body!
TADAAAA!

Thanks!
The Superman is cut from a comic book and glued to the inside with that xxx main picture glue. I thought it turned out well. My first attempt. It dries clear and its not hard to get the pictures to conform to the curves in the body.

Thanks very much! Im not good at painting and don't have the time to learn, but the picture glue was right up my alley. It took me an hour to cut out the pics and glue them on.
Tips:
Use enough glue. Be liberal with it to make sure it does not dry too fast.
Once they are on, apply more glue to the backs of the pictures around the edges and anywhere where window mask will be. The window mask will peel up the paper unless the backs of the picks and glued over. Then let the glue dry for 24 hours or at least overnight. I let it dry overnight and it turned out okay.
I like this method and plan do do more bodies this way.
