OK, so I have been banging around with the Vorza a bit, and just thinking about the battery/esc fires I have seen. One of the things I keep seeing is the need for someone to basically put their hands into the fire to disconnect the battery, etc. What is the feasibility of putting a manual batter cutoff switch in there somewhere? Kinda like a big lightswitch that will allow you to connect the battery to the ESC without the ESC being energized. Yes, when the fire starts, you still need to get close, but at least all you need to do is flip the switch and the ESC is no longer energized. Yes, I have considered the fact that a lot of the wires may melt together, negating the usefulness of the switch, but if they are run right, there could be some good general safety to be gained out of this...

rig it to be remote operated so you can switch it using the 3rd channel on your radio.

That would be pretty cool, but probably more of a hassle than its worth... Thats a lot of amps that you need a relay for...

Bob i dont think that would be possible because you would need a big arse switch to be able to handle all the power. you can however make a small extension wire so that you can unplug your batts further way from the fire if it ever comes to that.
