I didn't vote...Only because I buy from both online stores and my LHS. My LHS(friends with owner) understands that once in a while you need to save some money and they respect that luckily. I've seen some shops that had blacklisted people for it though.

Yeah, I don't advertise to the shops that I buy online, but my LHS understands when they know what their mark up is. Many times, they'll match the price if it was somethings with a big difference in cost. But like I said, I know these boys, and I help them out quite a bit when I'm hanging around there. But a majority of my purchases are from the LHS.
i buy from all three if my lhs dose not have them then i get it off the net if i don't really need it asap then i buy off the bay.

well time to advertise! i buy from jespares, modelsport and innovative rc...they all advertise on the bay. spares i generally go to the bay for, or keep an eye out for the odd bargain. my lhs (hobbeystores) is pants, all they are interested in is planes and heli's. they do not stock anything for sav's, so i buy online. it's easier than going 40 odd miles to find a decent hobby shop. my 2c

I'm mostly ebay and online, my LHS's sicken me. Lack of help, lack of parts, lack of information.

i buy from ebay, my lhs are ignorant towards their customers. they are the only place around for miles and miles so believe they have a monopoly on the RC market. ebay all the way 4 me, only thing i buy from my lhs is fuel.

i even get mine from modelsport, all my lhs carry is model technics, not bad fuel, but really really oily (not car stuff):bang:

For me to drive the some odd 20 miles one way just to find out LHS don't have what your looking for ( mostly aftermarket parts ) or the cost is exuberant. All that and my physical limitations equals to: too much energy being spent. Much easier for me to run the net and ebay. So this is how it is for me. Mostly Net followed by Ebay and then LHS.

There are two hobby shops about 45 miles away and neither one will even try to get close to on line prices....I only visit in emergencies.

the only thing that lets online buying down is waiting for it to be delivered. you end up debating with yourself, do i pay extra and be able to take the truck out today or do i get it cheaper but wait for it to be delivered. SAME DAY DELIVERY PLEASE!!!!

same day delivery would be awsome but my trouble is my lhs doesnt stock ewt for savages anyway and it takes him longer to get ewt than it takes me to order myself of the net plus he is an a**s hole to boot
